Gas Introduction by Permeation into Long Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene Capillaries with Slug Flow

چکیده

Due to the density differences between gases and liquids, gas supply often limits conversion of gas-liquid reactions in slug flows. This paper investigates permeation reacting into an existing flow fluorinated ethylene propylene capillaries up 40 m length, representing a significant sizing-up tube-in-tube reactors (maximum 4 m). The amount introduced can be estimated with coefficients given literature. Moreover, bubbles serve as reservoirs for permeating gas, maintaining advantageous pattern.
